A data-research and archival program that provides space for controversial narratives , the history of social change, and political events in modern Egypt ( the twentieth century and beyond ). It collects alternative knowledge and archivesofficial state narratives produced by governmentsbased on approaches such as collective recollection in which knowledge is treated as a contentious process rather than a fixed body of information . The program collects records, data sets, bibliography, catalogs, visual and textual archives of the social, cultural, historical, legal and political changes that have occurred and are still occurring in Egypt .
